Commissioned by organist Robert Moore and harpist Julie Jones in memory of her granddaughter, Olivia Katherine Brown, this piece presents three variations on the hymn “The Gift of Love,” based on the traditional tune 'O Waly Waly.' Written for a deeply personal occasion, the work blends the voices of organ and harp with remarkable sensitivity—offering a poignant tribute through warmth, restraint, and quiet beauty.
