COMPOSITIONS:
SOLO
These compositions for solo instrument and voice are intimate meditations on purpose, passion, and presence. Whether drawing from text, personal belief, or pure musical instinct, each piece offers a direct and expressive dialogue between performer and listener. Unbound by large ensemble constraints, these works embrace clarity, contrast, and emotional immediacy—amplifying the voice of the individual.
ONE SKY, ONE DESTINY
for Trumpet & Organ (2022)
Commissioned by organist Robert Moore, this work is a contemplative statement on purpose and connection. The trumpet and organ engage in a dialogue that is both solemn and uplifting—symbolizing the individual’s journey toward fulfillment and unity with something greater. Through lyrical lines, radiant harmonies, and moments of searching stillness, the piece aspires to affirm that every person has a path only they can walk.
WILD NIGHTS!
for Soprano, Piano & Orchestral Chimes (2022)
An ecstatic, unrestrained setting of Emily Dickinson’s famous poem, this piece captures the fervor, sensuality, and storm-like motion embedded in her text. The soprano’s soaring lines ride waves of contrast—between chaos and control, desire and delicacy—supported by a piano part that is both grounded and impulsive. Orchestral chimes shimmer through the texture, evoking stars, sails, or bursts of revelation in a night alive with passion.

CHAMBER
Crafted for intimate ensembles, these works explore the delicate balance between vulnerability and strength. Through shifting textures, extended techniques, and emotional nuance, each piece invites listeners into a distinct world—where silence holds weight, tension breathes, and every gesture carries meaning. These compositions reflect moments of reflection, struggle, and discovery, distilled into sound.
AN Elegy
for String Quartet (2022)
Composed at the Boston Conservatory High School Composition Intensive and originally performed by the Worcester Chamber Music Society, this work was written in memory of a mentee and dear friend who unfortunately took his own life.
Wandering in the woods
for Bb Clarinet & Vibraphone (2022)
Written at the Boston Conservatory High School Composition Intensive, this duet uses extended techniques to explore curiosity, isolation, and the textures of nature.
THE RAFT IN THE STORM
for Brass Quintet (2025)
A tense, shifting journey that explores the struggle for balance amid chaos. Rhythmic instability, harmonic friction, and fleeting moments of calm reflect the challenge of finding direction when the path forward is unclear. The quintet sways between cohesion and collapse, capturing the raw emotion of uncertainty—and the quiet resolve to endure it.

LARGE ENSEMBle
These works unfold like visual landscapes—evoking narrative arcs, shifting light, and emotional resonance on a grand scale. Through layered textures, harmonic contrast, and sweeping orchestration, they explore the tension between stillness and motion, memory and momentum. Each piece invites the ensemble to become a living canvas, where sound paints meaning beyond words, and moments expand into something timeless.
